My name is Kyra. My usual username is Phoenixsong, although when that is taken or I feel like being different or confusing I'll go with something else. The "something elses" currently in use would be Kratos Aurion, Phoenixkratos, Malice Aforethought, ReynardZK, The Scarlet Dragon, Elfdragon, Hawkdragon, thewinkingcat or King Henry VIII. I am female, although if you end up calling me "he" or "it" or some other pronoun I don't really care (long, pointless story, you can ask if you really want to know). I'm currently 20 years old and live in the southeastern United States.

Let's see... I like to read. Most of what I read are fantasy novels, mysteries and the occasional classic, and sometimes whatever has a pretty enough cover and isn't sappy romance. According to my parents I've been reading since I was two and a half, and this long-lived love of literature is probably part of what has turned me into an obsessor over proper English spelling and grammar. I *have* been known to badger people about their English before, yes. (By the way, if you happen to notice any errors on this site or anything else I may have written, please, please, please for the love of all that is lemony fresh PLEASE let me know so I can fix it immediately. In addition to the mistakes that even I can make despite all my nitpickery, my hands have been acting up lately and I have become quite prone to mistyping things and not noticing them. So I'd appreciate any help you can give in pointing out errors... unless, of course, thye ar intenionoal liek ths k?)

Anyway, I am told that I write fairly well, and I'd love to publish a book or two of my own one day. Not that that's particularly likely; I don't appear to have the attention span necessary for actually finishing anything I write. On the other hand, I can *usually* finish the drawing projects that I start. That's probably because most of what I do is just sketching with a trusty mechanical pencil; sometimes I break out the colored pencils or attempt to do something with Photoshop.

I like video games. I really, really like video games. I actually don't play them *quite* as often as I used to, but I still love 'em. I'll try almost anything that isn't a shooter, a sports game (other than racing, provided you don't put racing in its own genre) or something obnoxious like "Hannah Montana is Late for her Concert ONOEZ for DS", although my preferred genres are RPGs and platformers. I own a Wii, two DS Lites, a Gameboy Micro, a Gameboy Advance, a Gameboy Pocket that I cannot find and a Playstation 2 that I *will* get around to removing from my little brother's room one of these days. In particular, my favorites are most of the Pokémon series (orly?), Namco's Tales series (particularly Tales of Symphonia), the Phoenix Wright series, Golden Sun (and its sequel) and the Fire Emblem series.

And then comes my last, but certainly not least, love: the computer. I spend so much time on the computer it cannot possibly be healthy. I'm interested in web design and am currently studying it in school. When I'm not tinkering with this website or other website projects I'm wasting time on a forum or two, modding an RP or battling/reffing in TCoD's ASB league. And... yeah.
